Interlock Kit Installation Steps
With the power off, place the base plate (the one with the 2 holes) to the left of the circuit breaker and mark the location in the base plate hole with a pen.
Remove the panel cover from the circuit breaker panel and drill the two holes marked on the panel cover using the 3/16" drill bit provided.
Insert the screws from the back of the cover plate, install the bottom plate and top plate to the front cover plate of the circuit breaker panel, fix with nuts, make sure there is enough space for the top plate to pull freely.
Combine the zip ties into a loop and install the zip ties around the top circuit breaker in the panel.
Place warning labels in appropriate locations.
